I will preface this by saying that you will find no grandiose explanation of the artistic profundities of my work here; only the fluff-trimmed facts of what you really need to know:

I earned my Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design in June 2010 along with an assortment of awards and accolades that look good on a resumé. Immediately following graduation, I became Gawker Media's first and only staff illustrator. I spent the next nine months creating hundreds of on-demand images for the network's various properties — including Gizmodo, Kotaku, and Gawker — while fine-tuning the skills necessary to produce editorial illustrations in a rapid-paced new media environment.

At the same time, I began to expand my own social media presence and to promote my work — both personal and editorial. Thanks to this exposure — as well as my high standard of illustrated realism — I gained clients across the globe and was employed to create magazine covers, promotional imagery, medical illustrations, game and interactive design artwork, merchandise designs, editorial content packaging, large format vehicle wraps, and branding packages.

I've continually refused to confine myself to a particular style or client type and as a result have a portfolio which is as diverse as my client list. If you take a look at some of my latest pieces, you'll notice that I've seamlessly switched from creating images for major news networks such as msnbc.com to crafting promotional designs for death metal band Trivium to working on Rovio Mobile's mega-hit "Angry Birds" franchise. (Oh, and between all that? I found the time to take on private commissions for an assortment of celebrities as well as the CEOs of Fortune 500 corporations AND to build a small army of tens of thousands of "Sprattitude"-filled fans.)

I am incredibly passionate about what I do and take my work very seriously. I run my business out of a studio based in Brooklyn, NY — but as previously mentioned — my clients come from all around the world. Take a look at who they are and then get in touch with me to become one.
